Name: Rylee Beaumont
Age: 11

Hometown: Hearthome City, Sinnoh

Personality: Rylee looks like a well-mannered young lady, but is really a wild child underneath. Rylee also happens to be a guy. Around people who don’t know him, he puts on a facade of being polite and kind. But, it doesn't take long before his true self comes out. He is very mischievous, and enjoys tricking people and pulling pranks. He is also very competitive. To him, everything is a game and he’s the winner. Because of this, he can be quite bratty when things don’t go his way.

He has always had an interest in Pokemon. He enjoys both battling and coordinating, but he mostly participates in contests, as he lives near the Contest Hall. He considers his Pokemon to be his friends, as he doesn’t actually have many human friends. This is part of the reason he wants to be great at battles and contests. He wants to impress people with his abilities, so they will acknowledge him.

History: Rylee was born on November 19th to Charles and Alice Beaumont. Charles was a Pokemon trainer from Unova, while Alice was a contest coordinator from Hoenn. They were excited to have a child of their own, and when the doctor told them it would be a girl, they bought tons of cute dresses and decorated the baby’s room to be stereotypically feminine. However, when Rylee was born, they soon found out that the baby was actually a boy.

Not wanting all of the time and money spent to be wasted, his parents decided to raise him as a girl. They never referred to him as a girl, and most people who knew the family personally knew he was a boy. Rylee even knew that he was a boy. However, he didn’t mind at all. He thought that it was fun wearing frilly dresses and fooling people into thinking he was a girl.

Rylee was around Pokemon for his whole life. His parents still enjoyed battling and coordinating, so Rylee often watched them in action. They also bred a lot their Pokemon, so he got to play with the babies after they hatched. Zoruas were especially high demand, so there were always a couple of them roaming the house. When he got older, around eight years old, he began to train the ones he liked the most. It wasn’t long before he started participating in contests and battles as well. Even though he was still young, his parents happily supported him with his endeavors, as long as he was still close to home. They didn't want him to leave town without at least one of them with him.

Nature: Elegant
Battle style: Whether he’s on the stage or the battle field, Roselia has to look beautiful. If his opponent is female, he dazzles her with his looks. If this fails, or the opponent is male, he likes to poison them and focus on dodging their attacks while their health is withered away. If there is an opening, he uses one of his attack moves.

Nature: Grumpy
Battle style: Gothorita’s preference is to finish the battle quickly and without much trouble. This usually leads to him grabbing his opponents with Telekinesis and unleashing a barrage of attacks. He typically doesn’t use Tickle unless it makes sense for him to do so.

Pokemon #3:
Species: Zorua
Sex: Male
Ability: Illusion
Nature: Mischievous
Battle style: Zorua loves to annoy his opponents. He enjoys using his stat-changing moves before he starts to attack. Once he has set up enough stat-changes, and stolen any items they may have, he uses his strong, hard-hitting moves to finish them off.

Pokemon #4:
Species: Joltik
Sex: Female
Ability: Compoundeyes
Nature: Affectionate
Battle style: Joltik is a lover, not a fighter! Whenever someone tries to attack her, she stops them with a quick Thunder Wave, and then wraps them up in a big web hug. Afterwards, she showers them with “love bites.”

Species: Swablu
Sex: Female
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Cheerful
Battle style: Swablu loves to serenade everyone with her voice, including opponents. If her songs don’t get the job done, then she flies around to avoid getting hit and swoops down to attack.

Pokemon #6:
Species: Liwick
Sex: Female
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Shy
Battle style: Litwick gets nervous in battle, so without any guidance she simply spits out attacks at random. She is usually more confident in double and triple battles, so she is able to put thought into what her next move is going to be.

Pokemon #7 (Storage):
Species: Spheal
Sex: Male
Ability: Ice Body
Nature: Dopey
Battle style: Spheal is a Pokemon who goes with the flow. He’s never really concerned with strategy or effectiveness. He prefers to do whatever he feels like, which causes him to take a lot of naps. He’ll still listen to Rylee’s commands, but if he was left to his own devices, he likely wouldn’t win many battles.

Pokemon #8 (Storage):
Species: Mienfoo
Sex: Female
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Serious
Battle style: Mienfoo has a methodical way of fighting. She begins by meditating to build up her strength. When her health gets low, she restores it with Drain Punch. Detect is used only when she knows a powerful move is coming. After she has enough attack power, she attacks with whatever move will do the most damage against the opponent.
