APH: No Gods or Kings... — Description

Welcome to Rapture.

Deep in the bowels of Rapture lay the small settlement of Fort Frolic, ruled by the infamous artist Sander Cohen. Now, Mr. Cohen was no stranger to using the local Splicers as his own personal body guards, in fact most of the remaining leaders of Rapture did so, but there were two in particular you did not want to run into in a dark alley. The Vargas Brothers were once normal people; twin Italian brothers born into a world rich with culture and lived lives of leisure. The older, Lovino, was a bit of a sourpuss who wanted nothing more than to avoid all of the people he felt annoyed him. (Which happened to be almost everyone.) The younger, Feliciano, was a social butterfly who loved dancing, flirting with pretty girls, and enjoying everything about life. However, as with most residents of Rapture, once the city fell, so did they. Splicing has a funny effect on the mind. The more Plasmids you splice with, the more sanity you lose. Now, these brothers were reluctant to splice at first, but after the city began to succumb to the threat of the Splicers, they knew they had to do something to defend their home. Sander Cohen even encouraged them to splice. After all, what could go wrong with bio-engineered superpowers? Before they knew it they had spliced away every ounce of humanity they had left. They stalked the dark halls and alleys of Fort Frolic, following Cohen's orders and murdering anyone who dared to cross their path, not a lick of hesitation about them. Occasionally, the other Splicers in the area would attempt to attack the younger, weaker Feliciano while Lovino was away, however their attacks were short-lived and often ended with the rage-filled older brother bashing their skulls in and tossing them into the wrong end of Fontaine Fisheries. Lovino and Feliciano may not have any human morality left, but they would die before they would allow any harm to come to each other.

YEAAAHHHH I FINALLY FINISHED THIS THING. And just in time for the new year!
Anyway, this is the result of my obsession with BioShock mashed with my love for Hetalia. 8'D I also have a thing for yandere!Italies so I thought this would be a great way to smoosh all of it together. u v u btw in my headcanon France is actually Sander Cohen HAHA.
I was experimenting with a new lineart style, but I'm not very pleased with it. 8T So I'm going back to the old way I do my art, haha.

About 80% of the texture in this piece came from brushes. I used way too many to list all of the users here, but I'm just saying that most of it doesn't belong to me. x'D
