Divine Ritual — Description

Mature for blood.

A commission for @VelvetPersona! This is a scene from her TLK AU, for which she gave me this description:
"Simba was found and raised by not Timon and Pumbaa but a powerful pride of devout and militant all female maned lionesses called the Shujaa. Simba and Khadijah were the only cubs of the pride during the time and were raised as brother and sister. The fight the picture is displaying is called the 'Eunoto', a ceremonial fight aspiring Shujaa undergo after finishing their Initiation Trials. After the fight, if the three goddesses are pleased, the two combatants are rewarded with magical gemstones blessed by them, which temporarily enhances their fighting prowess substantially. This is a divine ritual that the Shujaa are known for."

This one was a bit of a test of stamina on myself too, phew! But I really enjoyed drawing these characters, and you should check out the AU too! It's really cool!

(Also wow hello new submission page? That caught me off-guard hahaha)
