Bargaining Position — Description

Today was the deadline.

Executives from DigiCorp left their corner offices and gathered inside the headquarters of their chief competitor and corporate enemy, McAlester Enterprises. No one spoke as the elevator rose swiftly towards the top floor, where a last-ditch meeting had been arranged. The DigiCorp executives didn't like their chances -- McAlester Enterprises was already dominating the tech market, using half the staff and garnering a stellar reputation in the process. DigiCorp's profit shares were plummeting. The last thing these executives wanted was to grovel or beg... and yet, here they were.

The elevator slowed to a stop. One by one, the DigiCorp executives steeled themselves, doing whatever it took to leave their enormous egos behind as they stepped into the hall and entered the meeting room. They gasped. Daphne McAlester was nowhere to be found. But there was someone else, a curvaceous blonde superheroine spread across the meeting table, her hands and feet bound by strands of thick rope. Kinky and cruel toys littered the table around her. And beyond that, a TV screen displayed a simple message:

"Unmask Me for a Special Surprise."

One by one, it dawned on them. One by one, they grinned wickedly at the helpless heroine spread before them.

In the art of negotiation, one piece of information was enough to completely tip the scales back in their favor. And the DigiCorp executives had certainly come here to negotiate...
