TF SLASH_Boundless — Description
After TF Ongoing #22 & 23, many speculations came to my mind. My imagination is boundless.

Though I've only read the pre- and review, these two issues really got me. To be honest, I never cared about Optimus Prime. To me, he is always too perfect a character to interest me. But thank for #22 and 23, I became found of him.

It was hinted in #23 that Optimus Prime might not be a legal Prime. And his wrong act in #22 might seeded the future of him losing/giving up the position of Prime. Which, I think, would be a bold but splendid development, to see what will Optimus act when he was released from the burden of matrix and leadership. It would be difficult and harsh to him, but I think he will still stick to his ideal and fight for it.

If Optimus really lost/gave up his leadership, it will certainly cause chaos among the Autobots. Although probably not everyone, but I think at least those who are close to Optimus won't really change their mind just because Optimus is not a "matrix chosen" Prime. Leadership is not depending on an artifact, after all, and Optimus certainly showed his leader quality in the 4 million years of war.

But the un-unity will certainly do harm to the Autobots, which is exactly what Megatron wants. It will be awkward and cause instability among the Autobots (see how the others still follow the orders of Optimus on earth despite Optimus himself had given the ledership to BBB). I think it will be better for Optimus to move a step back and maintain a healthy distance from the Autobots for a while. He can deal with other important things such as the Galactic Council... (Of course, *hopefully* after he sorting out things with Megatron in the Chaos )

Well, those are my speculation of Optimus from #22 & 23.
Then, my slash mind kicked in and had a nice conversation with my rational mind.

IF my speculation really happens, it would be very cool to see Optimus and TC form some sort of alliance. Perhaps Optimus needs a Decepticon as a representative to negotiate with the Galactic Council? Just to stop whatever action the Galactic Council will take against the infamous Cybertronians. I don't think Megatron will give a damn to whatever Council XD and TC will be the only Deceptcon who is rational/peaceful enough to do such a thing. I can actually see TC do that in order to "change" the immutable civil war.

A discrowned Prime and a deserted Decepticon, both free and at their own free will, they will be a good pair and develop some mutual understanding (and love!) in their time together.

PS: Hunnn, I found that I tend to pair TC with LEADER. First Megatron, now Prime Partly because I think (IDW) TC will only fall for those stronger than him... someone who can lead him on the way to his ideal.

PSS: Yes, Optimus showed his *handsome* face in #23! >3
