Selene — Description

Been diligently working on my color theme and shading skills lately. Found out I can easily tame both by drawing everything in greyscale first and then apply a color filter over the image, altering specific colors here and there using a secondary color filter. Drawing in greyscale first ensures I don't have to worry about color imbalances throwing my shading off, and it becomes much easier to work with gradients until it's time to apply the color. No special significance with this image other than that I tried to push myself to the limits to get this technique right. I'm close to where I want to be as an artist, but not quite. Still feels like there's something missing about my style..
