Finally
Working 4 hours on the lineart and then saving it for the day, waking up the next day to find out that the whole psd file and the jpg file got corrupted didn't really make me in a 'happy mode' for the beginning of that day...
But I after some time I started to re-outline it all in the evening and got done with that at about 30 minutes over midnight~
And then today I've spent some hours with colouring, shading and the bg.
I seriously need to practice on bgs :'D
I'm quite pleased how it turned out. Since the lineart is somewhat more efforted than before, and well the effects are gewd to have when wanting to fix the shading on the 'right' sides c: I kinda forgot how the light-source went so the normal shading isn't really fitted to it <3
By now you should know my addiction to any kind of 'Evil' Sonic, or dark.
I kinda have a story in my head for this form, which involves a bit putting Tails in for the main part~ Mwahahaha c|<
Second time I draw my fan made form of Dark Excalibur Sonic <3 Me likie <3
...This deviation is 'glitching' so I have a hard time putting it in groups, but I did find a way.

the music really suits this picture and the mood
the background of a storm is just amazing
the broken armor is a very nice touch
the glow of excailbur is small but enough
i think you might need to reveal more of sonic since Excailbur glows and is being held close to his head
the detail and depth of this piece is simply amazing
the quills are so realistic i get lost in this picture all of it is so life like

this art is so dark, capturing and awesome~ I love this picture and really concentrates that dark feeling you get. The shading is good, neon is distinct, and the background is very attractive.
Though it's dark, some parts of the face should be a bit more distinct, because when i opened my messages, i wasnt immediatley sure what this was. Sonic related, of course, but, y'know.

The first thing I wanted to say when I saw this was: "You should've added trails of light from the glowing gems to add the movement (if he did move) and more sense of epicness
Okay, now moving to what my mind thinks about this piece 
The first flaw here is your lighting on his armour. I have a small part of me that agrees with what some other deviants have said about 'too much darkness too little shine'. The 'remaining' part of me says that since the sword of his is glowing, the glow should have illuminated where it is closest to his armour, so that makes the 'over-shading' no a problem at all (especially at the cross-tree, since it is the brightest there). (Now that is one hard-to-swing sword. Looks more suitable for bashing than slicing. Just my opinion.

By the way, I have a correction in my previous comment. I was meant to tell you that the 'over-shading' part wasn't actually a flaw. After I'd listen to this song, the lyrics and the shading now blend together into a great piece! (The two voices at the end of this song also fits well. I imagined one to be Percival (Blaze) and the blacksmith (Tails) looking for the Lady of the Lake (Amy).

Heh heh now this reallt is quite the form still really! Heck Drytil you should check out these two forms out. Still i must admit you really did show a much more darker part to this form then what some expected. Some slight corruption and more it seems
