Katie, Kyra's older sister see here (Meet Kyra's BIG Sister ) is a bit of a tease while she never had feelings for Hiro in their youth but she was aware the boy had his first crush on Kyra's big sis and used to tease Hiro and Dawn who saw Katie as both as an annoyance but a rival for Hiro's affection.

Yes shows both Hiro and Dawn at the age of 10 and Katie is about 16 or so.
