'I made a mistake...' — Description
Spike's mouth fell open. A little blue changeling (hybrid maybe?) was wriggling and crying in Thorax's grip. His closest friend whimpered in shame.

"Th-thorax... Where did you get him?" Spike already knew the answer. The little baby looked too much like Thorax to not be his.

"He's mine." Thorax whimpered, "Spike... Please... I don't know what to do. I can't take care of him, I'm so busy already as King of the Changelings... I made a mistake-"

"Who's his mother?" Spike asked. Thorax looked down.

"I was told not to tell you." Thorax sighed, "I'm sorry Spike, she doesn't want you to know."

"Are you with her or...?"

"No." Thorax nuzzled the little baby, transferring him to be held in his hoof, "I was stupid. We both were. We made a big mistake... And now this is the price we paid." Thorax quickly amends his statement, "B-but don't get me wrong! I love him, I love him more than I could have imagined I could ever love anyone. But... He just won't have a good life with me. I can't care for him with all my responsibilities. That's not a life I want him to lead."

"And his mother?"

"She's very busy too. She can't raise him either."

Spike looked back to the little baby, now a bit calmer, just whimpering and snuffling in Thorax's hoof.

"We just... Taps just had Smokey. We can-" Spike frowned, and looked back at the farmhouse where his wife, husband, and 3 children were playing. "Bloom would hate to let this little thing suffer. We can care for him. I'm sure we can handle one more baby."

Thorax smiled, and hugged his friend. Spike hugged back.

"Thank you Spike." Thorax bowed his head in thanks, "I don't know how I can ever repay you, or your family." He frowned nervously, "I-I can visit him, right?"

"Of course!" Spike laughed, "We would never keep him from you!" Spike hummed and looked at the baby, "Does he have a name?"

"Beetle." Thorax smiled. "His name is Beetle."

I've had a few guesses for Bee's mom, but none are right so far XD

So a few clues I put here:
- She knows Spike. At least enough to not want him to know she's Bee's mom.
- She's busy.
- Not a changeling, since Bee is a hybrid.

I really like to imagine Spike coming back home with the baby in his mouth and Bloom and Taps just outright SCREAMING.

Like "SPIKE HOLY SHIT WE JUST GOT A BABY WHERE DID YOU FIND ANOTHER ONE??!!"

...taps and bloom and spike 100% love Bee a lot tho he is their little baby boy and no one will ever tell them otherwise
