This was designed for the August monthly folding challenge here: [link] to prove the step count. It's a bit of a sharp contrast to the crab "instructions" (if they can even be called that) that I'm working on. This one is one step per figure, but the crab is more like fifty billion steps per figure.

Usage Policy
This is a very simple design, so I would expect that other people have happened across similar to nearly identical patterns. However, I did develop this myself without any similar-looking references. If you follow this tutorial to create a simple scorpion and wish to post the result as artwork either here or elsewhere, please credit the design you used to create the model.
