Stray-Chap-6-Sway..---Melissa's POV---
It has passed about thirty minutes already, I wasn't even there yet.I was walking incredibly slow.My leg was in much more pain from the running earlier.
I looked up at the sky.Sky blue,along with the mixtures of re and orange, with a couple of white and grey clouds surrounding it.I never really saw the full view of the sky, except when I was just three years old, although, that day it was full of clouds, that was the last time I was out, the day I was-I shook my head, trying not to think about any of that.I looked back to the sky.
So, this is what a spring day was like.I smiled a bit.
I looked to in front of me, I should be there soon, but what could happen?There could be a bustling of human's, although, they can help.
Then something came to me.Was there any miniature nekos out here?I looked around nervously.There had to, at least be ONE.
---Jason's POV---
I looked out the window, to see the sun setting, clouds were starting to surround the sky now, as if it would rain.
Suddenly, the phone rang.I look the time to look this time.Mark.I sighed, and answered.
"What is it this time, Mark?"I asked, annoyed.
"Jason!Did you see the new's a few minutes ago?"He asked, excited.
"..Yes, why?"I said, already knowing why.
"That miniature neko is still here!"
"..And?"I asked.
"A-And?!I bet you know exactly what I'm thinking!"
"Luckily, I don't."I said blankly, about to hang up.
"We could find it!"He said.
I widened my eye's."And why would you wanna do that?!"
"Well, if any one else finds it, it'll be taken to the pound, most likely to die-"
"Just shut it alright!I highly doubt their trying to kill it!-"
"Some people came asking if we seen it, they had net's and everything,"
I widened my eye's.
"You wanna help now, huh?"
I shook my head."Well, even if we do find it, what are we gonna do in the process!?Goodbye!"
"Wait, Jason!-"
I hung up immediately.Mark, is always the type who wants to help.But, never plan's ahead.
---Melissa's POV---
We HAVE to catch this pest, before he makes anymore trouble,"I heard a booming voice.I dashed into the colorful field immediately, with my leg aching.
"Yeah, but we've been searching for the damn thing for week's."
I peeked my head out, to see two men, holding net's.I cringed.
"Hm, he can't be that clever.Everyone separated into group's to find him.Pest can't run forever."
"What if he's in the field?"The other said.I widened my eye's.
"Yeah, check that side, and I'll check this one."
I quickly got on all four's, and ran.
"Hey something's running over there!"I heard one of them yell.
"Then get it!"The other commanded.
Tear's rolled down my cheek, as I heard booming footstep's coming closer.I ran as fast as I could.Now I felt like I could pass out from the pain, in both my leg, and my arm's.
I immediately jolted to a stop, when there was something in front of me.
"Its cornered!Get it!"Another booming voice yelled.I looked under the huge brown object, there was a huge gap.
That was my only option.I crawled under the gap.Luckily, just as the men had the hand's where I just was.
"Damn!"One of them yelled.I quickly stood up.
"Wait, it's not him,"Another said.
I quickly noticed that I was near a house, a huge house.I looked down, there was a small vent to go in.I ran in without thinking.
"Get in the house!Hurry!"One of them commanded, they both stood up, and ran to the corner.I sighed, and looked around.I widened my eye's.I was in a human's house.
I looked to the corner, and covered my mouth, holding in my scream.
A human was there.The same one from before.Jason.
---Jason's POV---
Someone was knocking on the door hardly.I widened my eye's, and ran to the door.I quickly opened it.I saw two men, holding net's.
"Uh, c-can I help you?"I said, nervously.
"We'd like to search your house."One of them said, blankly.
"Huh?W-why?"I asked, startled.
"Just let us search your house, your not in trouble or anything, just let us in-"
"I'll let you in when you tell what's going on."I snapped.
"..Okay,"One of them said, the other widened there eye's."A miniature neko came inside your house, and we need to search for it immediately."
I widened my eye's.
"Well, we should search for her-"One tried to come inside.
"It's mine."I said.
"..What?"One asked.
"She's mine,"I said.Luckily, I remembered that they said 'she'.
"..She's your pet?"The other asked, with his eye's narrowed.
"Yes, I-I let her out f-for walk's, and, sh-she gets in s-some trouble."I lied.
"Oh, alright.Well make sure your little PEST comes out supervised."One said, annoyed.
"Yes, sir."I said, hiding my face.
"Okay."They said walking away.I sighed in relief.
"Oh, and,"They stopped.I widened my eye's.They took out a photo."Have you seen this miniature neko?"
I inspected the picture.He had messy, dirty blonde hair and ear's, with mischievous green eye's.I widened my eye's.
"Well?"One asked.I calmed my eye's and shook my head.
"..No, I haven't seen him.."I said, softly, still looking at the picture.
"Alright, we'll if you see him, could you please contact the animal shelter?Thanks for your help."He said, and put the picture back in his pocket, snapping me out of my daze.They walked away.
I sighed in relief, and shut the door.
I widened my eye's, when I remembered what they said.
