Whiskey trotted forward, following the strange giggles that however, the closer she got turned into something closer to cackling. Her ears began to twitch as her trot slowed, this was all a tiny bit creepy after all, wasn’t it? Eventually she came to a halt, head lifting as she held her breath, when suddenly she saw five figures lurking among the old desolated tombstones. She had never before seen any, but she knew from the stories she had heard straight away that these were ghouls. The young mare gulped hard and almost as if the ghouls had heard it, they silenced and turned around, staring at her with what looked like empty eye sockets. Whiskey hoped they would not see her, yet just as she thought that the five creatures charged, coming at her clicking and clacking their teeth. Whiskey stood frozen with her eyes wide, unable to move!

A loud gasp escaped her, when suddenly the earth rumbled and the ghouls began to stumble a moment later Gryla came crashing into them, two stumbled to the side-lines, while Gryla when down on the on caught under her hooves, quite literally stomping it to pieces and burying it alive in the ground below her. A gust of water had meanwhile whipped another ghoul from its feet, Orbie coming for it, kicking down at it fiercely while it hoarsely screamed.

Whiskey was still frozen in place, sure she had run from a single young howler and kicked one limping goblin who had tried to sneak up on her, but never had she been attacked that fiercly since she left her valley. These ghouls were clearly out for blood and able to actually draw it even! Another ghoul suddenly came her direction, Hrafn shooting down, clawing and pecking at the ghoul that swatted at the raven with his hand. “No! Hrafn!” Whiskey finally yelled, snapping out of it and quickly jumping forward to ram the ghoul before it would hit Hrafn and hurt him. The ghoul jumped to the side, Whiskey turning around and aiming a kick at the creature yet as she did the ghoul clung to her, biting down hard on her rear, before she kicked it away against a tombstone nearby the two remaining ghouls.

Orbie and Gryla had finished two of the attackers, the two ghouls that had stumbled to the side at first standing with the ghoul kicked against the tombstone. Obviously wounded it wiggled below the other two, who watched it on the ground with a mixture of confusion and appetite, it seemed.

“Let’s go! Now!” Orbie then barked, Gryla reacting immediately and gently, but firmly pushed Whiskey along, making her canter alongside her as they followed Orbie away from the graveyard before the ghouls would decide which rather to make their meal – their fallen comrade or the unicorns.
