Description
Yesterday, I was watching the BBC documentary "First Firearms" - which was, on the whole, an excellent program. Partway through, in the stern and serious tone beloved by all goodly British commentators, the presenter dropped the line: "The ugly and awkward duckling of late Medieval warfare had become a murderous Renaissance swan."Fantasy gaming is clearly destroying my mind. I laughed for five solid minutes at the mental image - and then I drew the horror you behhold.
I'm going back to watching Critical Role as I draw. Perhaps I'll learn to use my powers for good.
Drawn in Staedtler pigment liner on low press-weight sketchpad.
Creation time: 5 hours
