Description 9th January 2017 - the Half-Blood Prince has turned 57 years old. Party Happy Birthday and many happy returns!! Star! Heart

For my tribute I've used Β as reference a photo of Alan Rickman, which I find not exactly flattering. Turning it into The Potions Master makes it a lot easier on the eye - not because my treatment was particular artful - Severus Snape is simply too fabulous a subject!! :D (Big Grin)Β

Severus Snape is fascinating at any age. Like Alan Rickman! Thanks!

I bet your husband loved that reminder :O (Eek) - Severus will wear every age well. (Certainly in my pics -cough!) Β But thank you for your compliment. :D (Big Grin) Β

Happy Birthday, Sev Heart
And wow, you really painted this amazing art work?!? I'm so impressed, it is really perfect! β™₯ One of the best I've ever seen *-*

I used a photo that looked nothing like the end result - if I do that much work on a photo, or scan in a sketch, it goes under " Digital Painting"Β
Thank you kindly for your high praise. Very happy you like it! :D (Big Grin)Β

Heh I guess Snape has caught up with Alan Rickman's age while he played him in the films.

Really like this, he's... cute Eyes

I guess so -LOL. I prefer his dark, smouldering looks, the way he looks in the last 3 movies...and cute might come in somewhere too.,hahaha.

I know this exact picture of AR (I have it somewhere - will have to try and find it now!) I can never forget dearΒ Sev's birthday as it's just 4 days ahead of my own dear hubby's - and, as I cheerfully reminded him just the other day, 57 is a mere 3 years short of 60!!!
SS wears it well though! ;-) (Wink) Β
And this is a great piece of artwork - love it in fact!!! Β
