So I was messing around in 3ds max the other day, trying to push myself to model with more detail. Being a big Dr who fan I decided I'd attempt to a dalek (If it wasn't obvious). When I first started I wanted to create the emperor seen in 'The eternity clock'. After finishing of his head section and his lights I settled on a traditional casing. that of the fat, rainbow coloured monstrosities introduced back in 2010. soon enough I had managed to create a chunky approximation of the casing and now he's here as a first draft to be added to and recoloured anytime I get round to it.

The emperors distinctive head Ive kept and made a few adjustments to, such as making his ball jointed eye piece telescopic so as to look right in this casing . My thinking was the emperor seen in 'TEC' would have more interesting things to do than just sit at the end of a level and so can interface with the paradigm casings to increase mobility.
