Mermaid Adoptable — Description
A little while ago I offered my kouhai to draw a fanart of her adoptable, a gender bend version to be precise, as her adoptable was a merman. You know, a rather muscular man with fish tail as his lower body. To be honest, I'm not really comfortable seeing mermen, that's why I told her that I'm gonna turn the character into a mermaid without changing the key appearances, such as the hair, eyes and skin color. So yeah, while some may think that I'm blackwashing, I can tell that I'm not. In fact, I have to pick a brighter color for her skin as the original one is too dark for me to make the details visible.

I decided to work on the illustrarion this month as it is the same time as Mermay and coincidentally, deviantArt also held an adoptable party recently. Her sailor outfit as part of the color palette in the event. Although I said that this is supposed to be adoptales, I'm not really sure to auction this character. Still, let me know if anyone is interested.
