...now just a depressive hank pym. also known as antman, giantman, yellow jacket and now possibly 'the wasp'. Hank has just gone through shit, and been labeled a wife beater since forever, which is interesting, but c'mon there's gotta be an upside!? wait.. so he made ultron? oh... shit.he's suffered alot, and i think now they're gonna bring him up to the a-list, according to dan slott (mighty avengers' incoming writer)... but we'll see.
i like this one, its a change from the usual action into something else.

I'm kind of suprised to see Antman fan art, he's a rather underappreciated hero. Yes he has had his dark days but so have many others that are still well loved. It will be intresting to see what sort of take the writers put on Hank Pym if they do indeed bring him to the a-list.
As for your art, the style and mood of the whole thing is beautiful, good work

I think it's a respectable take. I haven't watched season 2, but the first season was a good attempt at limiting the ridiculousness of the concept of "ant-man".

It seem to me that he spent more time as his actual size as opposed to being larger or smaller. More often he is just Hank Pym the Scientist. Any time he spent fighting anyone was something he later agonize over or perhaps feel troubled by it especially after what they went through with Ultron.

Well, I think that's what his character is supposed to be, at least in modern times. A bit tormented for his bad decisions, but willing to help however he can. I haven't read much of his original stories to know if they stayed true to it or not.

all I know is an old antman... it's overwhelming the amount of changes and history I can discover, but one hero at a time... I think it will be a long time before I ever get to Avengers. Reading your picture descriptions is always front news for me!
