Modern Colt 1908 — Description
The original Colt 1908 Hammerless Pocket Pistol cas chambered for .25 ACP, .32 ACP and .380. Their small size, and simplistic operation of pure blowback made them a fairly reliable pistol, to the extend of the U.S. Military adopting some in the .380 Caliber as Officer's pistols.

This however, is pretty much what I would do if I were capable of reproducing the pistol...not much. A change to the trigger guard to promote two handed firing, and a change from the .25 ACP to the .32 NAA cartridge.
The .32 NAA cartridge is simply a .380 Case necked down to .32 ACP. This provides less recoil than the .380 cartridge, while more close range energy in the bullet than either the .32 or the .380. Nice round
