I don't recive the thanks very often, but there is always people that thank you for every fav that you make, i think it's a little annoying...P.S. What i mean is that sometimes, a lot of people thank you and you cannot answer them all, just that, i don't hate the thanks comments, only the overload of them.

I tell people all the time to stop thanking me for faves and they do it anyway.

I don't mean to be rude but it does get annoying...especially if it's from the same person over and over again -__- Especially when some even link you to the deviation you just faved

As a person who favorites a lot of things, it's quite annoying when my comments section is full of "ZOMG THX4FAV GLOMPZES" I have a custom box RIGHT above the comments box saying not to do it, but I still get lots of comments thanking me Dx Can people not read?!? I don't want people advertising all in my comments section .-.

I was happy when I saw that you could hide notifications for badges, because I would get one every frickin' day. Now I wish Deviantart would do something about the comment section, because the 'thank you' spam is getting ridiculous. That's the only thing covering my front page.

What I meant is that I like to answer the comments, but I'd rather answer other kind of comments, like feedback and stuff

I like getting thanked for faves, and I like thanking others too. It's a way to say that you appreciate the person taking the time to look at your gallery and it also shows that you are happy they found a piece of your art they liked.
I don't know how you can be annoyed by thank you's. They always make my day brighter

Ah! well in that case, I can understand, however, maybe you should specify that in your comments. I personally would not want the small amount of good mannered people we have left on DA to go away. I rarely ever get thank you's or you're welcomes on this site anymore
