Punk Show — Description
I've always wanted to draw a fictional rock show since I was a kid, but I would always get too distracted making the band or get too lazy to draw the whole crowd. However, this past year I got really into the idea, and finally managed to get it done. Took a ton of work making the massive crowd, getting a diverse series of poses and characters, and getting the warped camera angle I always like to try. All the lineart was worked out traditionally with pens, but I decided that the coloring would look best done digitally, to clean things up and prevent the markers picking up the inks. Plus, it let me play around with a bunch more effects and get the lighting *just right*. I have some noise, some scratches like a grungy Black and White photo, and I added the stage lights which I originally was gonna' avoid. Anyways, I'm incredibly proud of this piece, and I hope you guys enjoy!
