where would you put Axl Low (Gulity Gear),

Heirs to a once rich family but born in a world where all they see was violence (Trunks’s future was already fucked up, invaded by androids while Axl was born in a part of London’s East England). Because of this, they detested violence and conflict and became determined to bring peace. Despite this, they would constantly get into fights (however as Trunks fought he lost more people and while Axl fought more people would come to his side). While Axl found peace, Trunks was constantly losing to the androids. However they would eventually travel through time itself, Axl unwillingly dragged to the future and Trunks using the time machine to go to the past. One of their motivations is to see the women that they love dearly smile (Axl wants to see his girlfriend, Megumi and Trunks for Bulma and Mai). They meet alternate versions of themselves (Axl meets a future him and Trunks meets past him) and when given the choice to return to their original timelines, they make opposite choices but both out of selflessness (Axl stayed in the current timeline in order to defeat Ariels while Trunks went back into the future to destroy the threats still lingering there). In their most recent incarnation, (Strive and Super), they are involved in a conflict involving what some may call ‘fallen Gods’  (I-no’s ascent to Godhood was interrupted and everything including her human desire was stripped away while Zamasu’s ideals were corrupted by his own hate for mortals, thus having him do what the Gods were not meant to do, destroy). In the final battle, both of these ‘Gods’ ascend to their truest forms and battle these time travelers (I-no ascending to Godhood and Zamasu merging with Black).

They and their team of friends would come out on top in the end, with them specifically dealing the definitive blow that would destroy their physical bodies (I say physical because this isn’t the last we see of Zamasu or I-no). They’ve met alternate versions of the friends and family that they know from their timelines (Axl has met I-no who is an alternate version of Megumi and Trunks has met Bulma, Mai, and Gohan in the past time period). Both of these characters’s primary weapon choice are blades. While they are human (or at least 50% for Trunks), they are also described as a different kind of lifeform (Trunks is part Saiyan and Axl is a “possibility”). One of the main things about these characters is that they are supposed to represent “Hope” for a better future.

Bonus: Both are a part of a fighting game made by Arc System Works (The entirety of Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FIghter Z)
