Sanitarium...(Welcome Home) promo — Description
18 years ago the Shadow Seer dared to enter the diabolic Philips Howard Sanitarium. Inside the abandoned hallways she encountered madness and death. Now, drawn back to that dreadful place by dark whispers in her dreams, Cassandra will seek to end the evil that waits within once and for all.

The first time, she barely made it out with her sanity intact. This time, it won't be so easy...

This is the piece did to cheer me up...uhm...yeah. Anyhoo...

Earlier this year, you all voted for which of the heroines who hadn't really featured to date you would like to see in a story and Cassandra won the poll.

So here is a little teaser for that story, which has Cassandra and friends return to the scene of one of her most difficult cases as the darkness she thought defeated returns, or has it? For metal heads out there, yes the name is a play on the Metallica song Welcome Home (Sanitarium) from Master of Puppets

Art by who put in a lot of work on this one and did a nice job of capturing that 70 / 80's comic cover type peril...at least I think so.

It was done in Daz 4.8 / I-Ray with postwork in GIMP. Dee used V4 for Alchemica and Imperia, Gemesis 2 for Cassandra, Gemesis 8 for the heroine's dark opponents and the slime props were for Gemesis 3 and required a lot of manual posing...though no mugs were lost in the making of this piece.
