Down the Bleached Landscape... — Description
Clever title, I know. XD

Ichigo take Rukia sledding for the first time!

This is the one I was struggling with during my last pic. This took a long time for a couple of reasons:

1)the colors were a bitch to figure out. D: I knew the coats and of course their official colors, but I wasn't sure at all about the rest.
2)My normal shading technique wasn't working out. Anything soft just didn't fit the piece. So I slowly cell shaded it, did a few gradient things, slapped on some tones and decided it was a better look than I had before.

I was going to do an actual snow background, too, but of course that didn't fit well with the rest of it, so I did a more abstract BG and added a motion blur to make it look like they were actually moving... >>;

All in all, I'm satisfied with out it turned out--the bright colors were a nice change from the dim, rainy ones. XD

(Which, by the way, there IS a Rukia version of that coming up)

Well anyway, hope you guys enjoy my wintery IchiRuki pic!

(I had this done like... 4 hours ago, but DA wouldn't upload my pic. >:l argh.)
