Description
Well guys, I FINALLY got this thing done!My own tribute to the 3rd Bleach Movie: Fade to Black, I Call Out Your Name.
I am super excited for this movie, even if I probably won't be able to see it until next September or so... Japan is so slow with getting out their DVDs! Argh.
Back to the piece. This is something I could very well see happening, what with the Ichigo and Rukia fight. Ichigo's basically tired of fighting and just wants to get her heart back already. It's gotta be painful for him.
Speaking of Ichigo, sorry for his blinding hair.
That's probably the brightest I've ever gotten it....And I like it that way.
Actually, I am very proud of this piece--I love how it ended up coming together.
Enjoy!

Absolutely gorgeous. ^^
The wait for this movie is going to be so long! September seems so unreasonably far away... T-T
(by the way, I love Ichigo's hair the way you colored it

Thank you~! :3
Oh I know. D: Why can't Japan be normal and release their DVDs earlier?! Argh. I kinda want someone to go in and film it though so we can get a sneak peak. XD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
You're welcome ^^
I know, I want someone to do it too! I'm so anxious to see all the ichiruki-ness~! :3
There's bound to be some kind of love scene at the end of their 'fight' or when Rukia gets her memories back ^_~
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Oh I know! I'm really hoping for a hug, myself. >__>
And, I just know there will be an even MORE epic IchiRuki line to go along with it. XD
As if "I don't care if you don't remember me... I'll still protect you!" didn't make me squee in delight already.

A hug would be awesome...But what if there was..............
A KISS?! O_O that would be epic win.
Kubo-sensei will definitely be making more ichiruki even after the movie. Looking forward to it all!
Kawaii!! That is one of Ichigo's best lines so far ^^
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Oh dang, it would be. XD
But, I doubt it.
(because he wants to draw it all himself. XD)
Still, though, there'll be ALL SORTS of IchiRuki goodies in this thing~
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
lol somehow Kubo wanting to draw all of the 'outright romance' himself seems perverted, but we all know that if we were in his position we wouldnt want anyone else drawing the mushy parts either! xD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Hahaha, indeed! XD I dunno, I think I'd like to see it from him first, but if he does something like leaving the ending open ended... they better take this chance to do something romantic. D:<
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Seriously, if nothing even remotely romantic happens in this movie...Ichiruki might be doomed
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Yeah, especially when they haven't had much time together at all in this HM arc. XP
Kubo's probably making up for it with this movie. :3 I can't wait.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Oooh that's a good idea! He's going to have A LOT to make up for in the movie then, with them being separated for so long! ^_~

Ooh, I love this.
It's great how you made it seem like Ichigo's really trying to connect with her, even though she's acting so coldly to him. I really could see this happening. ^^
And by the way, I love the way you color.
Anyway, overall fantastic work.

Thanks so much! This coloring was actually more of an experiment than anything, and I'm glad people like it. :3
As for drawing out the lines, I "sketch" my lines in. Meaning, I use small strokes right after the other to create a smooth line. ^^ Here's another helpful tip: start out big. This pic is probably less than 50% of the original. X3 (I don't remember exactly what I downsized it to) But, it helps with making lines look smoother and thinner. I lost a little detail in his eyes and stuff, but that's alright.
And of course, it's gonna take practice.

lol, you should keep it while doing fanart, I think it would be a unique style that people will recognize. ^^ It looks like a vector, but it's not. Looks really good.
Thanks for the tip! lol, I think the problem was that I don't start out big enough. I think you nailed it right there, so thank you so much!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Thank you! :3 I think I may keep it for some pictures, it's less stressful too. XD
No problem, glad I could help.
👍: 0 ⏩: 0
no problem; you deserve it
👍: 0 ⏩: 0
wow! I love the shading effects and everything it looks so reall!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
very nice, I love the expressions on their faces
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
goddamn brilliant and detailed vector!
Everything is brilliant - I So want to see that movie *hopes for a little IchiRuki fanservice*
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Oh, it's not a vector. :3 Drew and colored everything myself. XD
Thank you though! Hehe, I've got my hopes up too.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
then I'm even more amazed :3
So love it :heart.
and jup - hopefully somebody will provide a raw this time or we will have to wait like with the diamond dust rebellion 81 damn year ><
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Well thank you
Unless someone goes in the theater and tapes it, then subs it, we'll have to wait a year anyway. D: It saddens me greatly.

OMG YESSS!!! Kiss the girl boy
This is an amazing piece of art! I love how Sode no Shirayuki seems to shine of its own, like crystal.
poor Ichi will get a backache if he stands like this for too long lol
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
XD Lol, that'd be so cool if it actually happened... probably won't, but one day... >>
Thank you! Glad you like it. :3
Haha, I know, right? XD Poor boy.

That's the problem when you read shonen rather than shojo: less chances to see the pairing you ship actually happen
One has no idea being so tall too!
