Up To No Good — Description
Today, James Sirius Potter goes to Hogwarts for the first time, as J.K. Rowling confirmed on her Twitter . Today is also the day Teddy Lupin goes to Hogwarts for the last time. And I’m super stoked because so far it was only my headcanon that they were in school together for a year, and now I know it’s entirely possible that Teddy mentored his little godbrother on his first year.
About the Marauder’s Map: I like to think that Teddy had the map first, and he stole it from Harry’s study, much like little James does later. I also headcanon Harry allows this “theft”, because who’s he to keep the Marauders’ legacy from their descendants? And so the son of Remus Lupin spends his last year at Hogwarts teaching the grandson of James Potter, whose namesakes are both his grandfather and Sirius Black, how to utilize The Marauder’s Map to its fullest. Amazingly, that does not make Teddy the worst Head Boy in Hogwarts history.
