Pulling Strings — Description
I could make a Pinocchio reference here, but I feel that Ultron would be offended.

All jokes aside, I felt like drawing the Purple Man (no, not THAT Purple Man, the one from Marvel Comics) due to the massive amounts of Daredevil I've been watching. It's a pretty good show and I'm excited for all the other Netflix TV series that will be coming out. Jessica Jones, though I know little about the character, has caught my attention because David Tennant will be playing the main villain of that series, who happens to be this guy.
According to the comics, Purple Man is the reason that Jessica stopped being a superhero, due to the way he manipulated her life with his mind control powers. I thought marionettes would be the best way of representing that. The little Jessica puppet looks so sad, while Mr. Kilgrave is smirking at her misfortune.
Posing this picture actually took a while, as I'm not sure how you're supposed to hold marionettes, but Google Images helped me figure out what to do. Unfortunately, I couldn't help me with those blasted hands.
