Cake Checkout Summary page ... — Description

[ Updated Aug 19th, 2025 ]
○ Edit :
The [+ Give a Cake Badge] button now has disappeared from my profile's about page along with the [+ Give a Llama Badge] button.
Probably DA has fix the issue, at least for me it has. Thank you DeviantArt .. °
and thanks to R-4-Z-I-E-L who also had sent and informed the staff about this issue, my gratitude ... °
Though it seems that it has disappeared from my page, but still remains the same in other deviant's profile's about page. So, it is as it is ... °

○ My original submission :

● In celebration of DeviantArt’s 25th birthday, Cake badges are now FREE! No points, no checkout, just digitally collect cakey goodness and leave no crumbs.
◆ Only give a Cake badge by clicking the 3 dots (•••) on the right upper corner of a deviant’s 'profile' or 'about' page. Then select "Give Cake Badge". Or it also can be done by clicking the Cake icon on the small open-collepse Badges display, and click "Give (username) a Cake".
°°°°°
Do not click the "[+ Give Cake Badge]" button on the large grid Badge display at the bottom right in the 'about' page!!! (highlighted in the green, in the deviation above)
It will redirect you to the "Cake Checkout Summary" page!!! °
I have told and asked about this three times, once to one of the staff, and twice to another different staff. No reply, which makes me wonder, what's with the secrecy? Is the link deliberately left active, or was it possible that it has been overlooked? Or perhaps something else?
In any case, I strongly suggest to avoid it!!! .. °
