What the hell is that????I found it a few weeks ago on the patio of a friend. Nobody can tell me what it is! Maybe a caterpillar?!...but, I really don't want to know what kind of buttefly that thing will be!!!
So, if anybody have notion of it, please give me some information....

keine ahnung, was das is.....ich hab zwar 3 vogelspinnen und ne schlange zuhause, aber das is mir unbekannt.....hehe......weisstes inzwischen?

I've found the best resource for identifying bugs is your nearest university. Look them up on the web and send this photo to their entomology department. I've had great success with this procedure.
Now, as for the photo.... I've got more than a natural interest in bugs, and I've NEVER seen anything like this. It looks like half grub, half caterpillar. I wouldn't be surprised if you find out it turns into something other than a butterfly or moth... I'd love to know what it is if/when you find out. Nice image... good detail.
