This is exactly why I wanted to keep October open!
I deliberately left October a little more free-flowing so when something crazy, fun, or completely unexpected showed up, I could jump on it instead of watching it disappear behind a packed schedule.
And then Fortnite drops Nurse Lenore right in the middle of Halloween season.
Yeah... there was no way I was passing her up.
My normal Fortnite porting setup is currently broken, so I actually had to bring Lenore over the manual way. Since I was already putting in the extra work, I decided to make a couple changes of my own along the way.

Fortnite keeps her splatter effects more kid-friendly with the original dark coloring. I added a custom color shader to bring those over to blood red, which fits the horror nurse design much better. I also added a darker hair shader because the original textures had her hair nearly the same color as her nurse cap.
Sometimes a little unexpected extra work is worth it — especially during Halloween month!
