Just a scratch... — Description
Sometimes, missions don't go according to plan.
Superman says something about 'x-ray' and 'spine', but the rest is lost to the speedster's ears.
Wally's vision is blurry, so he stubbornly drags himself up using Batman's cape to focus on his frowning face.
- It's just a scratch. It will heal.
Something inside Wally feels broken, but it will heal, too.
- Stop talking, you idiot, and lie still.
Bruce's voice is harsh, but his blue eyes betray him.
Wally smiles.
- I'm OK, really.
And he is. Because Bruce is safe, and that's all that matters now.
- Flash! Stay with me!
Wally hasn't realized he had closed his eyes.
- I'm not going anywhere, - he wants to say, but the words don't come out right, so he squeezes Bruce's hand instead.
It's a silent promise.
When Bruce's hand grips back just as tightly, Wally knows: neither of them is about to let go.

I was in a BatFlash mood.
And apparently I love hurting my favorite characters and making everyone cry... *gets shot*

P.S. I don't intend to color this one, because I don't believe it will add anything to what's already been said... (And I'm busy doing other stuff. )
