After...humanity...
It was the first thing that came to my mind as I saw this.
First things first. I am not a visual artist. I am not good with compositions and perspectives. But I am good with words...so I will try to give you a feedback on the feeling you created. So, what do we have here? A vast and (almost) deserted landscape with some pieces of scrap, which are slowly getting buried by the sand.
A lonely wanderer (or soldier, citizen...) stands on a huge spheric piece piece of junk and stares towards the skyline we see close to the horizon. Does he know what happened? Or is he as curious as we are? The gun-like object laying in the foreground would speak for past wars...is the city still inhabited? Maybe iit is and the wandere is coming back home or he is willing to find out if there is still life in this world.
Now that I tried to describe the scenery as atmospheric as possible I can move on. As far as I understand this piece you tried to implement as many postapocalyptic feelings in this as you could without overloading it. According to my own description (boom continuity) you did a great job on it!
The impact is not kicking in directly. To me this is a drawing, that is getting more and more intersting and inspiring the longer I think of it.
It really reminds me of a Star Wars concept art though...but that is not necessarily a bad thing <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title="

I do not think I am qualified enough to judge the technical quality of your art but just let me say the following: I am amazed pretty much every time I see something you made!
All in all this is once again a great piece, created by a wonderful artist.
Thank you for creating such strong pieces of art ^^
