(Ddlc): It's the Little Things... — Description

Wow, I can't believe this is the first time I drew a Doki Doki literature Club comic??? It's especially surprising due to the excessive amount of fan art made of the game. Well, better late than never amirite?? I cannot even begin to tell you the amount of time I've had this idea for a comic in my head. May I just say I am finally glad to get it on paper after all this time. So yeah, it's great to see it being more than just an idea, cuz now it's a comic finally!!! It's a pretty simple idea too, it being basically MC talking to Sayori about problems he's currently having, and as you can see Sayori is clearly (not) paying attention to everything that Mc is saying to her. Makes sense since she's his childhood best friend. While he's talking though though she comes up with a brilliant idea, that she immediately puts into action. As she politely continues to listen, she ends up finishing up quite possibly the most genius thing yet. As MC turns asking for her opinion on the subject she shows off what she has done. That being fitting the classic red bow that's usually has in her hair...to become a bow tie. (A stylish one at that.) She is evidently proud of what she's done, and it appears that not even MC can deny how genuinely good (and adorable) it looks on her. In fact it seems that that girl that he was referring to earlier doesn't mean anything to him anymore...since perhaps the girl he has been looking for the whole time is right in front of him. Making one of the silliest yet best fashion statements ever! Just maybe...maybe, she's all he'll ever need.

I like to making this comic due to how silly it was in general. Which fits Sayori's personality if you think about it!! It's also interesting to see how I depict her without her classic bow in her hair. It's weird to see that's for sure... (I'm also glad I was able to incorporate the idea that the bow would leave two small strands of hair standing up. It's just me trying to add attention to detail on my part.) Yeah I know what you're thinking there's a serious lack of Yuri and Natsuki in this comic don't worry I actually have a plan for them... (and class star Monika, Too!!! ) But for now just hang in--hold on for now!!! I'll make sure to get around to both things soon enough.
