Really beautiful. I love the composition of it and the color palette. The warmth of the peach contrasted against the cold blue makes it feel unsettling and causes a discomfort with the image that I think really feeds well into the discomfort that child must feel sitting in the rain. Plus, your style is beautiful!

Said the girl, holding back what pain that started to grow within her heart.
"...Little one? Why are you here? In this rain no less..."
Said the cloaked stranger across the path.
"I'm waiting for my-"
"He will never come back..."
With five words the girl was silenced. She could not speak, naut only but to cry.
The stranger stood where he be, and continued to speak.
"Dear child. I see your eyes. You already know the truth. ...I'm sorry."
Names Luc, I tend to write random stories from time to time, and I like feedback on my work and to see how close I am to make a work come alive.
