LILAC Boxing Club in FIBF Action 2 — Description
After the LILAC Boxing Club's (a front for Purple Vixen) Moira's underwhelming performance in first round action, Purple Vixen settled in her seat to see the LILAC Club's champion, Leila in action. Leila (5-0 with 3 KOS [all in LILAC Club action]) was facing South Korean boxer Choi Hyun-mi (12-0-1, 4 KOs). Hyun-mi was giving away a lot of height to the tall, athletic LILAC, but fortunately she had a very close-in style, well suited to keeping under a taller boxer's swings, while enabling her to deliver quick but powerful jabs to her opponent. This tactic worked perfectly against Leila, who kept waiting for an opening to hit her smaller opponent with a right cross. But Hyun-mi never gave her the opportunity, all along scoring points and battering the LILAC champ. Leila barely hung on to the second round, but left herself open to a vicious left cross from Hyun-mi that nearly took her head off and definitely put her lights out. The South Korean chalked up another KO :42 into the 2nd round.

Purple Vixen dug her fingernails into the plush arm rests on her chair as she grit her teeth and seethed inwardly. In addition to seeing her major investment in the LILAC Club come to nothing at the FIBF Championships, she also lost more than $100,000 on her side bets. A smile returned to Vixen's face only when she began to think of how she was going to punish Moira and Leila once they were back at the lair. But for now, she was simply trying to figure out how to get out of Dubai before the bookies could find her.
