Working Man — Description

Had to do a photo-background real-media sister image to "King of Suburbia", so this happened.

Snakes defines the term "Working Man" - a single boy with few attachments; he and his living family members don't talk much, one good friend is a coworker and his closest friend (Ralph) is his boss, so he spends a good amount of his time working. Be it working on or around the house, working on his or Ralph's cars, or working his actual job as a well-paid and equally as skilled assassin.

Snakes loves working. And Snakes loves his job.

Ralph also loves Snakes's affinity for work ("keeping busy", as Snakes calls it), especially when it involves fixing one of his cars - and has been known to purposely tear a hose or two in his '81 Charger. Just for the sight of Snakes bent over the hood, covered up to his elbows in engine grease.

Snakes can usually tell when Ralph purposely sabotages his own car. And is seldom amused by it.

But play is play and work is work - Snakes doesn't care who you are or how well he knows you; if he's been paid, then you've got very little time left. 80% of the end price goes into his pocket - Ralph gets his 20% for making the arrangements, and nine times out of ten ends up spending that on Snakes anyway... suffice it to say, at the age of 32 and having done this for a little over 10 years, Snakes is a well made man who doesn't have to work another day in his life - nor would his children.

He just loves his job too much to quit.

(A funny aside about the image in the background - that's a photo of my old work truck, 94-4002 or "482", after she burnt to the ground shortly following my transfer... a tribute to a fine workhorse of a vehicle, and a head nod to "HEY, remember the time we blew up that car?!")
