I know it's been a long time since my last post.
For the last four months, I've been having the time of my life.

I got married on the 23rd of December to the amazing man who's stood by me right through my illness. I was surrounded by family and friends, and it was probably the best day of my life. It was a complete surprise. I turned up thinking it was my cousin's wedding, but it was actually mine.

Christmas was a beautiful day, spent with my two little children who I love very much. Then, after the New Year, we went to New York to stay with my family, where I ended up in hospital for a few months. The doctors said I wouldn't be able to fly, so my plans of travelling were trashed.

Or so I thought.

My gramps made some arrangements with a friend and got us on a boat. We travelled down from New York City, down the coast, making a few stops at some beautiful beaches. Palm Beach and Miami were some of the nicest. Then, we visited Nassau before passing The Dominican Republic.

We stopped in Venezuela because I was really ill. I spent a few nights in a hospital. The plan was to continue going south and then cross the narrowest part of the Atlantic, but I was too ill and didn't know if I could take the extra few weeks at sea that it would take.

We crossed the Atlantic, stopping at Cape Verde before docking for a night in Senegal. Then, we went north, stopping at a few beaches as we passed Gran Canaria and Morocco. In Portugal, we decided to fly back to the UK -- which was horrific. Our flights were cancelled, delayed, re-routed. It took four flights to get back, and the kids screamed through every single landing.

Still, it was great.

We arrived home on Good Friday. Since then we've been chilling, and I've seen some friends from university, some friends from college and some awesome peeps I met through the Teenage Cancer Trust.

I'm a good place mentally. I've spent a lot of time feeling angry or being full of regret, but just recently I feel better. I've had a great life and I have great friends who have supported me through my last journey. Unfortunately, I have a very limited amount of time left. The doctors have estimated a few weeks. I feel it every day. I feel more tired, and some days the pain is unbearable.

Thank God for morphine, and thank God for my beautiful husband who's doing everything he can to make sure I'm comfortable. Thank you to everyone who's made this time easier for me. You know who you are!
Thank you to the Teenage Cancer Trust, MacMillan Cancer Support, and Anthony Nolan. These charities are fantastic.

I'm not really sure how to end this, so I'll just say thank you for reading and sharing my story.
See you on the other side!

PS, please consider donating to the following charities:

leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.…

They do fantastic work and if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have made it this far.
