Is there a lot of abandoned buildings where you live? These always look so isolated. I wished I could explore abandoned buildings like this, you get that trickle rush feeling in your head of how you're not supposed to be here.

There’s not many where I live. They get demolished pretty quick here where the land is at a premium for development. But where my parents have a beach house on the west coast further north, there’s loads of abandoned houses and old buildings. Where I live, the old forts or smaller coastal defences are the best urbex experiences. Lol, it’s exciting exploring an old house or commercial building. Me and one of my older sisters explored an abandoned mental hospital a few years ago. For me, it was strangely arousing as much as scary. For her, she was shitting herself because it was creepy as hell. We came across another urban explorer and tagged along with him part way through. That asylum has since been demolished for a new housing development. I had loads of shots I took of it on Flickr but they deleted my account. Dick heads! 😡
