Relapsed — Description

"You idiot, you worthless fucking idiot..."

Tomas cursed at himself with his eyes welling up, ashamed at what he had done. He thought of his ill mother, the pride she shown when he initially quit smoking. He thought of the promise to himself, to be better and healthier. All down the drain, back to square one. Tomas cried to himself, feeling all the weight of his failure crumble on him.

Tomas' job isn't too forgiving, and it's hard to blame his bitterness towards some, but for now, he allowed himself to feel the depth of his despair with his dimly lit apartment seemingly closing in around him.
