Description
Training for expressions.I am not sure, what Garrett and Nehema are telling each other, and I'm not sure, if I want to know it when I look at Hemy's face in the last panel.
This reminds me somehow on a game the two played in the City, where they tried to gross out each other. For every nasty sentence they gave each other points and who had most gross-out-points won.
Finally digged out my coloured pencils,
The backgroundfoto is from CGtextures. Garrett and the Keepers are from Thief.

Just trying to be prompt,Besides, my son's itching to do some writing and he needs to get on the computer*! Sometimes(due to real life stuff)It may take me hours, even days to return a message!
*It's my daughter's machine, but she's visiting with friends, so she's letting us use her computer while she's out and about.

That happens to me, too. Just that the reason, why I don't repond directly is, that I need time to write something fittig for the comment. :] Or that I want to think about what to write best. "machine"... that sounded so steampunkish.

That makes sense to me! It's better to think it through before blurting out something you'd regret later(I have done that particular bit of numb-skullery myself more times than I'd care to admit!)
And,yeah, I do have an odd habit of using anachronistic terms....My Dad loved Shakespeare,Blake and Ezra pound, (his poetry ,not Ezra himself)My Mom Adored Agatha Christie, P.G.Woodhouse,and was a bit of a Gilbert and Sullivan fan, and my sisters were hard core Beatles fans, and I grew up reading E.A. Poe,H.G. Wells, Tolkien, and H.P.Lovecraft so the Anglophile/Antique Americana bit shows up a lot! Coupled with an obsession with Steam powered machines,Airships,Swashbuckler adventures, and odd ball tech (There was an English cartoonist,Arnold Searle, who did these wacky machines back in the late1950s/early1960s,Plus The strange machines of Ted"DrSuess"Gisel)

I really like the old english, so I think you should definitely keep that kind of speaking and writing. :]
SAdly the english of Poe is a little hard for me to read, so I am just reading the translated poetry at the moment. Will change that later on and re-read the stuff, I think it's worth it. :]

I'm sorry, the cat stepped on the key board, and the submit button fired too early(The story of my life!) what I was leading up to was that I was "Steam punk" ever since I was a kid and I didn't even know it!
Sorry for the snafu!(the cat apologizes too!)
