Description I made this back in...my last year of high school...it was our final project (a 3d self portrait)...and...I just never took a pic of it

Mainly because that originally I had to clay figures of creatures I made up on top controlling me...but after getting it home on the bus, I set it down on the steps to rest my arm for a few seconds...and the one clay figure rolled off and broke on the stairs (one of its arms broke off and one of its fins broke off)

But for my art portfolio to get into KU it said 3 of the pics had to be a series...and I didnt HAVE any series...and I couldnt think of any...so...I took Erase My Face's concept and applied it to this...I drew the figure girl on foam board and cut her out and stuck her up there controlling my hand

I guess this is technically a collab though...my dad pretty much made the entire wooden box for me. And my momm helped me cast my hand. I stained and shellaced the wood

Box: wood, nails, wood glue, stain, shellac (put together by dad, Edward A. H.)

Hand: Plaster paris strips, filled with expanding foam, painted with acrylics, fake nails glued onto fingers, peach nailpolish painted on the nails....and the paintbrush is just a real paintbrush withdried paint on the end of it

Puppet stick thing: 2 paint sticks crossed and nailed together with wood glue. The yellow strings are...some sort of yellow ropeish string my dad had in the basement

Figure: pencil and prisma colour markers drawn on foam board

Mini Painting: The easel came with a lil kitty cat painting I bought at the mall (I think the woman made it herself with dowels, nails, glue, and lil rope)...the canvas is canvas paper folded over (theres a piece of cardboard in the 'fold' area to keep it up cause canvas paper is flimsy and would fall over) ....then on the the canvas is a in-progress painting of the 2 original characters I had on top...but you cant see that part
