We may serve a goddess of art and creativity, but that doesn't mean we're pushovers! Martial arts are an art, too! We angels don't really need to get better at fighting, but we do it anyways because it's cool!
Half of the creativity comes from figuring out ways to compete with each other without it getting really boring. Angels have a reputation for being indestructible, of course, but it's much more than that! We're immune to everything, even natural laws themselves! That means things like 'gravity' or 'inertia' or 'time' or 'the speed of light' just don't apply to us when we don't want them to. That makes it pretty tough to have an interesting competition! What's the point of having a race when we can get to the finish line as fast as we please, or a weightlifting competition when there is no limit to the weight we can lift?
Nah, competitions in heaven are more like a combination of fencing, gynmastics, and a beauty pageant all in one! Instead of getting points for winning, you get points for cool factor, creativity, humor, and of COURSE sex appeal!
And just to keep things spicy, we're constantly changing the rules on each other mid-competition. Gravity gets reversed, time starts flowing backwards, the whole arena turns into pudding - you never know what to expect! The only real 'rule' is that you can't do the same thing twice. Gotta keep innovating and outsmarting your opponent.
So while we may have these perfect, sculpted bodies and wicked cool powers, that's not what makes an angel a true champ. It's the cleverness, the ingenuity, the banter in the face of utter chaos! That's what separates the cherubs from the seraphs!
