Trini es la hermana menor de “Jason” ellos perdieron a su padre en un accidente de avión haciendo que solo queden su madre, su hermano y ella, su madre aceptó un nuevo trabajo en la ciudad de “Angel Grove” por lo tanto se mudaron desde chicago. Una noche Jason se fue a tomar un paseo pero su madre le dijo que se llevara a Trini con él y ahí en el bosque conocieron a tres chicos, “Billy”, “Zack” y “ Kimberly”, cuando todo ellos se conocieron de pronto cada uno de ellos escucho un ruido extraño que venia de una cueva, los muchachos entraron a la cueva y ahí encontraron cinco fósiles de criaturas extintas, cuando Trini tomo la “Moneda de Poder Amarilla” ella obtuvo la velocidad del Trigre de Dientes de Sable y se convirtio en la “Yellow Ranger”.
Trini tiene dieciocho años pero es el miembro más pequeño del equip.

Trini is the younger sister of "Jason" they lost their father in a plane crash causing only her mother, her brother and her to remain, her mother accepted a new job in the city of "Angel Grove" therefore they moved from chicago. One night Jason went for a walk but his mother told him to take Trini with him and there in the forest they met three boys, "Billy", "Zack" and "Kimberly", when they all met suddenly each of them heard a strange noise that came from a cave, the boys entered the cave and there they found five fossils of extinct creatures, when Trini took the "Yellow Power Coin" she obtained the speed of the Saber-Toothed Tiger and became the "Yellow Ranger".
Trini is eighteen years old but the smallest member of the team.
