Description
Witnesses the birth of night
Time to resume its flight
Perches on a leaning oak tree
Crepuscular creature of mystery
A scratch of sound can be heard
How much more the alarm of a word
Its apples head in a 270 degree twist
A vague shadow concealed in the mist
In the midst of charcoal-black surroundings
Heartily flapped its wings
Keeps a faithful vigil every twilight
A single silhouette under the moonlight
The owl, expert at midnight
The owl, now out of sight ~ Aquamarine96
