Vampire Bride - Remix — Description
was kind enough to post a higher resolution image of the one I did a piece for her. This time I did it a bit differently as I didn't like the smoke effects ... and this one really wasn't working with it. Since it was higher resolution there were a few things I could do to it that I had trouble with the smaller version.

For one I created her a set of fangs from scratch, which is new for me as I usually use some prop or what not. I used her own teeth. Took a bit but I think it turned out fairly well. I did some extra work on the skin to make it near flawless and then I paled it down. That took a few layers in GIMP ... I locked it with some brush work and filters to get the effect I was after. I also intensified the color of her lips, the blood, and finger nails. I also darkened her eyes a bit more and the make up around it. That sort of gives a more stark contrast with the paler skin. FInally I played with her eyes ... and made them a red... and a bit highlighted.

All fun in the end Since my renders take a lot longer these days I've started doing photo manipulations while I wait The renders are worth the wait but I rather not twiddle so I imagine I'll be doing more photo manipulations ... which is where I started art wise anyways
