Confession about the trip... — Description

The Steve gang has now arrived at the universe where everything is the same, except the moon has a hypervolcano, and its apocalyptic eruption will occur in the year 2050. After everyone caught their breaths, ate, and waited until night... Smort comes clean. This whole multiverse Spring Trip was Smort's secret plan to track down his old enemy.
Professor Arthur Dill had always been an unnegotiable workaholic, wanting everyone to work just like him. He only makes all of his employees leave when he does, and even tried to make his class's final exams be on ALL holidays of Winter Vacation, which traumatized Smort when he was young.
Smort also heard that Dill plans to develop very dangerous time manipulation tech, but Smort always failed to give Dill justice.
Smort finally managed to get Dill arrested back in January, when Steve defeated his Timegenic-Emperor cyborg. But Dill escaped prison via some stolen multiverse tech.
This motivates Smort to create this Spring Trip, which serves as a fun trip for the Steve gang... but also a secret way to track down Dill. This is why Smort was so excited to find that chip. It was one of Dill's works, which led the Steve Gang to obtaining his secret plans.
Everyone is bummed out that their Spring Trip was a big complex secret scheme instead of a purely fun trip. But Smort is willing to make it up to everyone, defeat Dill for GOOD, and work on being less secretive too.
