Swampthing vs Unmen — Description

Swamp-Thing vs The Unmen. I think this is the most Bernie I've ever accomplished. Drawing after another I realized that in order to execute his style, all subjects must be in high contrast all the way through, and there must always be more black on one side of a body than the rest. That's just how I was able to sought out his techniques and so forth. Anyway, enough with me boasting. I really wanted to give Swamp-Thing another try after last time and getting his shading all wrong, and I just recently reread Swamp-Thing #10 and was once again astonished by Bernie's incredible abilities to anatomically contort bodies in grotesque ways and still keep them in proportion. Most young artists suffer with proportion when it comes to exaggerating bones, muscles, and tendons, but he didn't. Also, the distractions on this was unreal, so I took 6 hours in total work time. So guys, how do think I did on this one?
