Values — Description
I painted within the last few hours. I did it in a more traditional style, so more colors with more colors as shading and a little less multiply layers, which made it more relaxing to do and more loosey goosey.

Now, you can just enjoy it for what it is, but I really made it with a purpose. In modern day, there is a devastating lack of values and morals. People are far too focused on the little details and are missing the bigger picture. People today would see an old fashioned dragon, a woman made out to be a helpless damsel, and a blood thirsty man here to kill and claim his prize. What they missed are the values inherent in this cliche. The dragon is an obstacle, the man is our loyalty and dedication, and the woman is everything we hold dear. You could see the political incorrectness or violence, or you could see the we are all the knight, facing all odds, and sacrificing ourselves for what we love. It’s an allegory, it always has been, and a damn good one that I miss and value. No matter how complicated you try to make it for the modern pallet, it is simple, it is sweet, and it is the most important value we should never have abandoned.

I really appreciate it if you made it this far, I tend to ramble about things I believe to be important, so I hope you either agree or have some fruit for thought. I also hope you just like the painting, it might not be well executed but there’s a lot of passion in the concept
