It's dark on purpose, and I couldn't very well have a horror-inspired comic without blood at some point.
The first little body count aren't based on any characters; they were just unlucky enough to be what came out of my stylus. Oh yeah, and if you're coming across this page by itself, there was a text page before it, so if inclined, you may want to check that out through the comic's group, since I don't know when I'll get to adding chronological links to all of the pages.
