Blood. Yowls. Screams. Claw and tooth. Cats battled from every corner of the clearing. Frightened in a tangle of reeds, Flicker watched in horror as cats slowly fell in their own pools of blood. Though her horror grew as a familiar yowl split through the air. Morningstar. Pinned to the mud, her mother struggled beneath the grasp of a blue tom. Flicker stumbled to help her mother, yet her efforts were to late. By the time she had reached her mother the large tom had torn his claws through the flesh of Morningstar's neck. Her mother was dead. The great leader of SloughClan was gone.

The famous death of my beloved Midgetstar. </3 I really wasn't ready for her to go, so when Fallen Oath was created I felt ashamed to pay no attention to her death. Therefore, I just had to draw it. Flicker happens to be Morningstar's daughter, if you didn't guess so already. This is the scene in which Flicker, a young kit at the time, witnessed the fall of her mother. She had been killed by a Tribe cat, and thus Flicker had never showed respect for the former tribe members.
