Picasso attempting to claim WMRPG | Claimable | Warmblood Mare

It was a quiet afternoon and the herd was grazing. They had found a delectable little patch of foliage atop the lush mountain tops. The only sounds to be heard were the little birds a'chirping, the leaves a'rustling, and the breeze a'blowing ever so gently across the Earth's surface. This light wind was definitely welcomed, a most drastic change from the painful hail storm that the herd had just earlier endured. It left the ground feeling moist and frozen, but that did not put a damper on the group's spirits. Picasso, Val, and Ramsey were all three content. Their lips tore at the juicy blades of vegetation with ease. The more they filled their bellies, the more they satisfied their throats with the liquid leftover from the storm. Mmmmm!!

Picasso often divided his focus between gazing and surveying the surrounding landscape for any dangers. His ears were on constant alert, caught in a continuous swivel as they sought out sounds that might oppose the tranquility of the current scene. The stallion's skull would even lift on the occasion, molars continuing their job of chewing up the jade-green reeds as gaze examined the clearings. T'was during one of those random head lifts that Picasso spotted an unfamiliar mare!

This mare was an absolute beauty. Her feminine bodice was wrapped in a brilliant shade of bright copper, enveloped further by a white marking that near stretched all the way around her broad chest. Her mane was a pretty shade of pale gold, only half of her long tail dipped in this same hue. The pair locked eyes; and from both their expressions, it would seem as though they spotted each other at the same exact time!

Val had noticed her stallion's attention shift. Her nostrils widened to release a forced exhale across the grass below. "Why don't you go introduce yourself," she whispered quietly thereafter. The mare's skull lifted momentarily with a sported grin. "We will be fine," she assured before her lips returned to the Earth.

"I--- I think I will!" he whispered back, reaching out to bump noses with his loyal duchess.
It was then that Casso struck out into a slow prance, his breed-influenced forelimbs kicked out high with wide steps. The stallion conquered the short space with ease, his chest growing in size as a deep inhale was suddenly withheld inside his lungs. Shoulders fell into a rearward roll as he approached in elegant fashion, and this motion only influenced the growth of his already muscular proportion. With a light bob of that 'Stang shaped skull, the beau's fushia lips parted either direction with an offering greeting towards the nameless mare.

"Good afternoon," he crooned, his steel colored hooves bringing him to a gentle pause.
Picasso remained at a respectable distance, perhaps two or three horse lengths away from his pinto guest still.

"Well hello," the mare offered with a charmed tone. A single of her white brows rose, both her ears swiveling forwards to express a mixture of caution and interest. This was definitely one of the more handsome stallions.. Bonus points were also earned for his gentlemanly behavior! She approved of his decision to award respect to her personal bubble. To praise him, she extended her muzzle forwards for an invitation of touch.
"It's nice to meet you Picasso.. My name's Isabella." The mare smiled.

"Isabella," Casso repeated, tasting the name on his own tongue and savoring its sweet flavor.
"Such a beautiful, unique name..." he would muse. "--Und I won't soon forget it."

Picasso would spend all afternoon with this new duchess should she allowed him to.
Hopefully she could be persuaded to join his little, growing family.
Hopefully she would get along with Val, and Val with she; and let's not forget little Ramsey!
